Terms of Service
These terms apply to Obex Integrations, LLC ("Obex") services. Part A applies to Business Customers. Part B applies to people who receive text messages sent on behalf of a Business Customer.
Part A: Business Customers
- Services. Obex provides an opt-in missed-call text conversation (callers press 1 to receive texts), voicemail transcription, invoice follow-up, an automated receptionist, and related integrations, using messaging and automation tools. Each Business Customer is the sender of its messages, is registered with carriers under its own brand, and Obex sends on its behalf.
- Consent is your responsibility. You agree to obtain and keep proof of each recipient's consent to receive your texts, to use the consent wording Obex provides (or wording that meets the same standard), to send only the message types described in your registration (texts to callers who opted in by pressing 1, invoice reminders to current customers, plus answers to their questions), and not to use the service for marketing, promotions, or unsolicited messages. You will honor opt-out requests and give Obex the information needed to do so.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for the phone numbers, invoice details, and business information you provide. Automated replies may contain mistakes and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing how the receptionist represents your business.
- Trial, billing, cancellation. Free trials run 14 days and begin only after carrier verification is confirmed. Plans are month-to-month, and you may cancel at any time without penalty.
- Fair use. Normal small-business messaging volume is included in your monthly fee, subject to reasonable-use limits. We may suspend service that violates law, carrier rules, or these terms.
- Liability. The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Obex is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to fees you paid in the prior three months. You agree to indemnify Obex against claims arising from your failure to obtain consent or from your misuse of the service.
Part B: Text Messages You Receive
- Program and sender. Obex Integrations, LLC (and, for its customers, the business you contacted) sends recurring, automated customer-care text messages: answers to your questions about the business's services, help scheduling a meeting, and, for current customers who agreed to them, invoice reminders. Answers may come from an automated receptionist.
- How you opt in. When you call a business using Obex Integrations and no one answers, the voicemail greeting offers you the choice to press 1 to receive text messages at the number you are calling from, or to press 2 or stay on the line and leave a voicemail. Pressing 1 is your agreement to receive texts. You will not be texted just for calling or for leaving a voicemail. Invoice reminders are sent only to current customers who accept the business's text-message consent language on its agreement, estimate, invoice, or intake form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time, or tell us in plain words. Help: reply HELP, email info@obexintegrations.com, or call +1 (888) 436-2182.
- Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Recording. Voicemails you leave are recorded and transcribed.
- See our Privacy Policy and SMS opt-in details. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
